The president has sent the military in to take over the police force of the capital city.

Not in some third world banana republic.

In the United States of America.

We have become the banana republic.

I thought Bill Kristol’s article did a great job of breaking this down.

Remember when TEA Party people were up in arms, convinced that Obama was going to declare martial law?

He never made any attempt to do so, yet this president does this and the “don’t tread on me” crowd is silent.

Just a tip: if your reaction to a power grab like this depends on which side does it, you’re not principled. You’re a hypocrite.
