Unfit to be the Ruler of a Free People

I don’t even know what words I can use to express my feelings right now. This is not going to be a thoughtful entry to my blog. More just a haphazard stream of consciousness.

Today, the President of the United States, the latest successor to George Washington, thought tweeting this was a good idea.

I don’t care if he later comes back and claims it’s a joke, and that he’s “trolling the liberals” to “make their head explode.”

This was tweeted from the official X account for the White House. That means our tax dollars paid for this.

At best, this is a horrible, disgusting excuse for a “joke.” It tramples every institution of the United States, from the Declaration of Independence to today. At worst, we now have a dictator who has declared himself King. I don’t know which intention he is going for.

Considering that he tweeted a quote attributed to the Emperor Napoleon on Saturday, I think the latter. But, either one demonstrates he has abandoned the right to hold the office of President any longer.

The title comes from a passage in the Declaration of Independence. “A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”
