US Representative Nancy Mace announced she’s running for Governor of South Carolina.
I thought I would remind you that last month, she described her “if I was governor” dream on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

They’re not like Nazis. They are Nazis. They’ve just replaced gas chamber showers with swamps full of alligators. But that doesn’t change their bloodlust and their own Final Solution.
They all thrive on violence.
I took part in the No Kings protest, where we carried flags and peacefully marched through town.
In return, Trump supporters expressed a desire to run over us. Why? Because we are not agreeing with their cult’s repulsive views.
One example:

I have no words to adequately describe my absolute disgust at this.
Not just politically, but as a human being.
Every supporter of this regime is complicit. They’re all Nazis.
They put their thirst for power ahead of their compassion for their fellow man.
They claim to be Christian, but ignore the very words of Jesus Christ.
Then he will say to those at his left hand, “You that are accursed, depart from me into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not give me clothing, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.” Then they also will answer, “Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not take care of you?” Then he will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.”
– Matthew 25:41-45, NRSV
If you are a Trump cultist who is more upset that I called you a Nazi than you are upset that people are being rounded up and sent to torture camps in El Salvador or to be fed to the alligators in the swamps of Florida and South Carolina, you need to realize that is why you deserve to be called one.
