If a budget agreement is not reached by Tuesday, the White House is pushing for mass firings of government employees.

The White House budget office is instructing federal agencies to prepare reduction-in-force plans for mass firings during a possible government shutdown, specifically targeting employees who work for programs that are not legally required to continue.

OMB told agencies to identify programs, projects and activities where discretionary funding will lapse Oct. 1 and no alternative funding source is available. For those areas, OMB directed agencies to begin drafting RIF plans that would go beyond standard furloughs, permanently eliminating jobs in programs not consistent with President Donald Trump’s priorities in the event of a shutdown.

Our mob boss President once again comes out with a threat straight from the gangsters, mafiosos, and other strongmen he idolizes.

“I’m gonna make them an offer they can’t refuse….”

It’s also in bad faith, considering that Trump has cancelled any negotiation meetings with the Democrats. So, these innocent people could lose their jobs because his administration says so, but he doesn’t want to have any discussions over ways to prevent that from happening. A Senior White House official even said:

“We’re going to extract maximum pain … [Democrats]will pay a huge price for this.”

Our president is a little crybaby who throws a fit and hurts others when things don’t go his way. Now he’s using blackmail and intimidation in the event of a shutdown.

As I’ve said multiple times, and this once again shows, “the cruelty is the point.” They know they’re being hurtful. They know people are going to suffer. They just don’t care, as long as they get more power. After all, these are the same people who’d rather incinerate food than feed starving children.
